[SUS Sheet Metal Processing Case Study] Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Cover for Food Machinery
TIG welding as inconspicuous and thin as possible! An example of a cover made by sheet metal processing of stainless steel material.
At Suenami Industries, we handle "stainless steel sheet metal processing and surface finishing." We can provide a comprehensive range of sheet metal processing, including laser cutting, blanking, bending, and welding, as well as surface finishing such as buff polishing, electropolishing, and barrel polishing, all in-house. Here is an example of a stainless steel "cover" we manufactured! 【Production Example】 ■Product Category: Cover ■Industry: Food Machinery ■Finish: Hairline Finish ■Size: W350×D250×H100 ■Material: SUS304HL (thickness: 2.0mm) ■Processing Steps: Laser Cutting, Bending, Welding, Electropolishing, Hairline Finish 【Production Story】 This is a cover made by processing stainless steel for use in food machinery. Since it is for food machinery, aesthetic and hygienic qualities are required. Therefore, we used hairline material with a thickness of 2mm from SUS304, and additionally, we performed hairline finishing again on the welded areas to minimize the visibility of weld marks. During this process, we applied TIG welding to keep the weld bead strong while making it as thin and inconspicuous as possible. *We are currently offering a technical handbook for free!
